BVM jets..............................jet the same price as everyone else.....................HUGE markup for the sticker that says BVM

But then again, any form of competition that is not an already accepted name by those "in the know" will always be demonized instead of being assisted to bring their products up in quality, because people in the RC community, especially jets, don't understand basic economics.
Funny, there have been many posts about a faulty BVM products too, but they are quickly swept under the rug.

Hi,
BVM jets are among the highest quality...no doubt. Of course, all of this is a matter of opinion, and my opinion is that they are excellent....but NOT unmatched. I've always felt that the tip-top quality make on the market is JMP, and it always has been. They don't have very many side-by-side products to compare, but I've owned both the BVM and JMP T-33 kits, and the BVM (as good as it was) was inferior to the JMP in every quantifiable way. I've only owned one BVM sport-jet (Maverick), but my hands-on exposure to the JMP sport-jet kits leads me to the same opinion on those.

For scale as first jet i can highly recommend CARF Eurofighter with behotech C-50 UC or the Philip Avonds F-15 with robart UC. Both flies and lands easy and are very robost and durable.
I will NOT recommend the smal xtreme jets Hawk as your first jet, in matter of fact i want recommend it at all. The bigger one though is a lot better, but for a hawk i would much rather go for CARF or Airworld.

Hi,
Thank you guys to help me.
I think I´m going to buy the Tornado. The price is really good for a first jet and if I crash I will cry just one night
After I learn how to flya jet I canbuy a scale model
Do you guys know where can I find articles or a good book ? A beginner guide to jets would be great
Best Regards

Roberto, If you want a Hawk, I recommend the CARF one. It's bigger and lighter than the small Skymaster (extreme) or FEJ and much better engineered. Fly's like a big ***** cat as long as you have decent flying skills and lands nice as long as you have a jet friendly field and approach.
