Now that the log in issue and the inbox full of RCU subscriptions has been resolved I think the change will be for the better.
I like the way the pictures load, but they are a bit too slow to enlarge the first time you click on them.
I also like the way the videos can be viewed full screen with out having to go to U-tube.
I still think the fonts could be bigger. I know, I know I can do that thru my Browser, but why should I have to then read every thing elsewhere on the web as if they are shouting at me?????? LOL
Maybe just use the Bold as default????

I actually expected a whole different look, but its the same ... just riddled with more and different annoying problems.
So Internet Brands converts RCU to their software, which develops numerous and big problems for two weeks. Then they fix those problems, and then most everything looks the same (except for the thick blue bars).
In the end, they call that an improvement !!!
... Basically, they bring RCU to a state of collapse, then fix what they broke, and call it an overall success and improvement! What the????

I can't sympathise too much with you all as the font size is perfect for me to read on my laptop and the so called thick blue bars are about 8mm on my screen, I don't have to log in and out, I am permanently logged in, the spurious e-mails have all stopped since going to my subscriptions and deleting the ones I don't want.
In all it seems to be working well for me now.

Not being all that good on computer in the first place you just threw in a monkey wrench for me. There had been problems in the past but now it's a nightmare. My thread on bashing a Tiger 60 can't even be found so when I post a video of maiden it will be on RC GROUPS.

I know IB is walking a fine line between getting the doggone site to WORK / Function properly and to LOOK better /more like it used to/ less like RCG too.

Regarding NOT seeing other members' locations. This is fixed - the profile FIELD was previously incorrectly configured to be "HIDDEN" from the view. This now works - sorry for the inconvenience.

Small product update while we sort out better functionality for MY FORUMS. You are now able to quickly "View New Posts" for specific categories - such as RC JETS by clicking a drop-down option in the "New Posts" option in the top-left area of the forum navigation menu, just under the big "What's New" tab. In simpler words - just above your avatar icon on top, you will see "New Posts" with a dropdown arrow icon, this drop-down can help you view activity in an area that's of more interest.

Personally I think its awful.
However, I am sure we do not really have a say in any of this one way or another and we can just go ahead and like it or lump it. Whatever. This is why I have been out to RC Groups, Flying Giants and RC Scale Builder much more this past week or so.
RCU had a winning combination with the past web site in terms of navigation and being very user friendly. Not so much anymore. Good Luck with this format RCU.

I try not to guess... but frankly I'm not sure... I haven't dabbled in the email subscriptions much lately but if I figure it out or find the right answer I'll post and let you know!

I even did as you described, but still get them. Makes me not want to post anything on new topics.
As usual, IB seems to have bumbled this migration. Was there ever any doubt?
