I have been trying to sequence my wheel doors and the landing gear on a Thrope Borthers F1CR Mirage I have built. Using the DX18 sequencer the servos all work as advertised but is there some way I can keep the doors open a second or two longer. It seems the second the door servo stops the gear servo starts and when it stops the door servo starts up. If the gear are coming up slow then collision. I would like to delay the start of the door closing. I have just started playing with the system and am probably missing something. Doors are closed on the ground.

You can make the sequence as long as you think it will take. Then set the servo positions at different time intervals. On the tucano, I have a total of 6.0 seconds. The gear retracts instantly. Valve (whls) goes from 100 to -100 then 6 seconds later, the doors go. I have it setup to only last 3 seconds the opposite direction. How does one keep the nose gear door open while on the ground the main gear doors closed?

Setup an additional sequencer like the nose gear steering in the video that just controls one channel. It will require an additional air valve as well. So the main sequencer will control the gear and main doors (main doors open-gear down-main doors close) the secondary will just control the nose door itself.

I'm trying to setup four gear doors and two retracts on my Hangar 9 60cc Corsair. It seems that I can use one of the default settings in the sequencer, but given there are four doors/servos, what can I do to independently adjust each of the servos?

One more question. I'm using Robart electric retracts in my Corsair and I can't figure out how to program the sequencer (DX18) to provide a long enough delay between the door open cycle and the door closing. I'm using the default "door cycle / wheels 1A".

Just use the default sequencer as an example and create a new sequence with as much time between gear and doors as you want. You should also be able to use more than 2 channels, assuming you have them free with a separate nose wheel door that behaves differently than the others if you want. Using separate channels for each door, again assuming you have the channels to spare, would also allow you to use the travel adjusts, etc, for those channels to adjust full open / closed positions of servo operated doors, etc.

I'm using a JR. Matchbox to handle the four servos for the doors. When you say create a new sequence "with as much time between gear and doors as I want" I can't figure out how to get the delay I need between actions. On the gear up cycle, I have the doors open between points 1 & 2, the gear down between points 2 & 3 and the doors close between points 3 & 4. Nonetheless, the doors close before the gear is up. I can't figure out how to extend the delay?

Make the overall sequence a longer length and play with where you want them. You can make the sequence last upwards of 30 seconds if you'd like. You could make the gear doors open at 0-1 sec the gear extend right after and then you can wait forever if you want for he doors to close. Go on YouTube and watch the sequencer tutorial made by horizon.

Sorry, ignore the create a new sequence comment, I was confusing the sequencer in the DX18 with the sequencer in my other radio. As has already been said, when you choose a sequencer it has forward speed and reverse speeds. If you want 5 seconds between the door opening and the gear extending then do something like set a speed of 10 seconds and if the doors open at the start of the sequence (point 0) then have the gear extend at 50%(point 1). The times are just for illustration purposes, chose what ever times you want for the forward and reverse speeds and set each point to the appropriate percentage of that time.
