Hi,
one of the other adjustments was that I replaced everything air for electric. Chassis shaft doors and aerodynamic brakes control servos and chassis mechanisms I used Electron retracts ER50eVo. Only the brakes are air. For electric, I would have to buy whole new wheels and I also had a Jet tronics Brake valve, so I used it.

Hi,
finally change the brakes. I used a new electric from Electron Retracts diameter 50 mm. I have a question about the UAT tank. Doesn't that make a problem with the UAT tank in the nose of the hull, the main tank in the middle and the turbine in the back?
Thank you.

I haven't installed it yet. But I saw it in your photos and it's also in the manual in the description for balancing that it should be balanced without fuel, only with full UAT.

Yes, that is correct, the reason is because that's the landing configuration when you really do need balance at its best.
My uat is midships with a filling tube running to the nose for ease of access
Hope that helps.

Today I started the turbine in Albatros for the first time. Strange noises came from the exhaust pipe as I quickly withdrew the gas. Cause? Nozzle gap from the tube about 25 mm.

I have a modified wing. I cut off the flaps from the wing and fastened the hinges from the underside of the wing. Maybe I changed the depth of the wing a bit. CG states 150 mm in the manual. jkjunior stated here that the CG 170 mm suited him. So I took it to the center and put CG at 160 mm. The first flight was almost the last. The albatross was almost unmanageable and I was very lucky to land without damage. Finally, when Gary looked at his records, he wrote me that he gave his Albatross without a modified wing a CG of 150 mm. He was very sensitive to elevator and therefore added 6 oz (170 g) of lead to his nose. I have a 210 N JetsMunt M210TS turbine, but it's 13.05 oz (370 g) heavier than Gary's Wren 160. I moved the turbine battery from center to nose and had to add 7.54 ounces (214 g) of lead in my nose. CG I now have 140 mm. If you are building this aircraft, I recommend balancing it at 140 mm and if it does not suit you, you can always move the center of gravity backwards. Above all, you will avoid a crisis on your first flight.

Does any of you have a canopy that would like to sell. My L39 has a complete canopy and I really need it. It's a generation. 1 or 2 kit. I WOULD APPRECIATE IT.
Thanks, Hector

Arrangement with the original tube

Original and new tube

New installation
I wanted to get rid of 214 g of lead in my nose, but with the heavier JetsMunt M210TS turbine there was a problem. The original exhaust pipe was short, so it was not possible to move the turbine closer to CG. I ordered a new one, longer, with a larger diameter and, surprisingly, it was also lighter than the original one. November 28 ordered and paid. The tube was delivered to me on December 3. Ordered at Grumania Jets: GRUMANIA JETS

My flights with the L-39. No one filmed the first one. I was there alone. Too bad it could be included in the horror movies for bad CG. Fortunately, it turned out well :-)

Default Breitling L-39

Hello L-39 builders ,

After long pause I,m started to finalize the L-39 this season , rebuild an Evojet 180 engine new compressor / housing and bearings and seems running well, 18Kg is hopefuly enough, else can update the software from the B220 Neo to upgrade the Turbine too 22Kg.

Now trying to figure out how I let route the cables , I try to find out what is the best way to route cables through the fuselage but is there not a change they can be to warm /burn when there are close to the exhaust pipe and where is best to make connection futaba or mpx connections ? and what size of servo cables would be good 22AWG ?

Ailerons flaps and lightning, is it possible to combined those in a MPX connector or safer to keep them seperate ?

Cheers ,
Arjan

Hello Jet flyers

Currently i,m measuring the CG of the Feiboa Albatros , do we configure the CQ with retracts in or out ( nose wheel will change the CG)

I have modified the Airbrakes with servo's and possible would also change the Flaps but is there any experience if this have a positive effect ?

Cheers,
Arjan

Default Feiboa L39 "CG"

Hello Guys ,

I,m struggeling to find the correct CG around 150-160mm from leading edge I have to add 1400 gram ( 650 Lipo's + 750 Lead ) in the nose.

my setup and can't find more option to decrease the extra weight :

Engine:1700 gram ( with original tube)
Hopper+ Pump +ECU ( when move to front I safe 100-150 gram)
Airtanks under the turbine
Powerbox installed near front.

I read that CG is somehow between150-170mm, any suggestions what I could change or extra weight is common for size of model ?

add some pictures

add 750 gramm to find CG
add 750 gramm to find CG
