why don’t you just order a set of gear from Greg alderman at electron USA? He is a great guy

I agree, Greg is a great guy who understands how to take care of his customers. I once had a firmware issue with the Electron version of the Xicoy LG15, I think it’s called the GS200, anyway Greg sent me a replacement even before he received the one I was returning, which allowed me to get my T1 back in the air a week sooner. -Tom

By the way, the sizes I listed are the OEM Sizes with the OEM electric gear.

Greg is actually who I get my Electron retracts from. He is agreat guy and very knowledgeable. However, I have a set I ordered for a long term project and thinking of repurposing them in the meantime. Hence my question about tire size.
thanks again for the measurements Len and Tip.

Can those of you with the Electron Gear/Brake combo in your T1 tell me how you like them. Thinking of upgrading my T1.

I ordered my T1 about 11 weeks ago. Hoping it will be here soon. I want to order some swb aluminum arms for it. Are 1" arms long enough and what size bolt is required? Will the 3mm thread holes work with the stock linkages?
thank,
Tone

Is the hardware 3mm or does it use standard screws? I want to make sure I get the correct arms.
thanks,
Tone

I know I am in the minority here but I used 1 inch arms everywhere but rudder. But what gets everyone is that I bought my arms from amazon. I got 5 arms for $15. Metal and they work great. I'll post a link to them.

https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0...?ie=UTF8&psc=1

Hope this helps. I know someone will come on here and blast me but oh well.

Has anyone used the thrust vectoring option on this jet and if so have there been any issues?
Thanks,
Tone

I don’t think the T-1 is structurally able to support the Vectoring......as far as I know...they have one for the T-3 but it’s a stronger backend compare to the no vector T-3 version....

I have and it’s cool...It’s a bit of a challenge to install and get the geometry correct.. but once done it’s cool

on the t-1? Did you had to change anything structurally?

how is the rear end and the paint holding up? Is the heat and thrust vectoring causing any issues to the finish? Also, why was it challenging to set up. did you mean mechanically of electronically?
Thanks,
Tone

In the T1 mechanically... TIGHT spacing .. Tough to get the angles correct (I didn't want to hack away at anything structural) .. On the t1 no issues with Paint or anything like that as the thrust tube extends past the edge of the fuse.. The T3 required some custom engineering to keep the tube extended past the end of FUSE(I have heard some folks had issues with the paint peeling on the tail if they didnt do this).. But i also heard a rumor that there may be a new tube coming out(unconfirmed in any way shape or form)

I heard the same rumor about a new tube and that the may have been issues with the vectoring and the paint but thought that was on the T-1. Any chance you could post some pics of your vector set up, inside and out? My T-1 should be here soon hopefully.
Thanks,
Tone
