Kirk,

That is HOTT, bro!!! Please tell me you got some video of that! What's the fan size of the one you're using (diameter)? When I first saw those pics, it made me reminiscent of one of my first DF Starfires, cause from that angle, it looked just like it. :-(

Anyway, I watch your work with excitement. I ordered a new F-16 kit moments after seeing your vid.

Thanks Shaun,

I'm using the Aeronaut TF4000 120mm fan. It was designed as an EDF fan from the beginning rather than being converted to EDF usage as some of the other fans on the market. It is made from carbon fiber and weighs a total of 4 ounces without the motor. I used the same fan on the YA F-16 but with less input power than I have on the Electra.

Here's a link to the Electra's maiden video: [link=http://www.rcgroups.com/forums/showthread.php?t=737082#post8107319]http://www.rcgroups.com/forums/showthread.php?t=737082#post8107319[/link]

Put the 3rd flight on the Electra today. Here's a short video of a speed pass:

Dang Kirk,
That Electra was sreaming
I wonder when we will have the Turbine vs the Electra.
Good name for it to
I love it and to see those speed passes, it was awesome.
Also, On sunday I think I will have the 540 out, idk but maybe. The corsair and OV-10 should be good. My dad is using my 2.4 gigs module so I might use it for the 540 or just bring the Veko out. Maybe just get a flight or two in.
ill see you out at the field,
TJ
P.S. with everyone going 2.4, maybe we wont even need a frequency board...lol
