It is never too late for Toys for Tots donations. The Marine's center is just a few blocks for my house. I can pick up any donations on Saturday and deliver them directly.

On the trash issue, I personally would would like to see you pack out what you pack in. If it is too nasty to put in your car, perhaps you can ask someone with a trailer/truck to handle it for you. I feel individual responsebility is the way to go.

I agree with Doug Wheeler, we have been flying at the willow for a few years now and we never had a trash problem, it happened one time and everyone is making a big deal out of it, we left a mess once, we apoligized for it, no need to keep bringing this up, you know what trash you have, clean up after yourself and the place will be left clean, I really dont care who is a member or not if they fly there they clean up as well. What ever the money outcome is then we pay what we need to pay.

if people would agree to now accept this responsibility, this whole problem would be solved, and none of the local guys would have to go out of their way at all to fix our problem!

David
Agreed!

I dont think we need to talk about this anymore!

Just to clear a few things up, Gordon is correct, I did offer that I would gladly pay for a dumpster out of my own pocket for the club and take it upon myself to get donations from the jet guys if needed as a knee-jerk reaction to the mess we left last outing. When I told this to Todd he had mentioned that the club will talk about it(but thought it was needed), and if they decide to get one and they needed our (jet guy's) help then he would let me know. I stopped worrying about it and know that Todd or any other representative from the club would let me know if there was anything we can do. Todd was great to talk to and realized that we just stepped on our Duk, and knows we are usually very hospitable and take care of the field when we are there and when we leave. I still stand by my original offer to the club, and if they reach out I will take care of it, let you all know, and if anyone wants to help they can...Nobody is obligated, but since I opened my mouth I will follow through if needed.
Dave Searles and others have the correct solution, the same one that has always been in effect but forgot to practice (once), that is clean up after ourselves and continue to treat the place like it was our own.
Now please lets get back to all the blissful fun we are going to have with our overpriced hand warmers.

I will be down Friday morning before noon...........WHO'S WIT ME??????
Kiss it broheim, Kiss it!!!!!!

Speaking of flying, I have been flying the rebuilt Rookie with John and Stuart. I may be able to sneak out Friday. Perhaps some buddy cord time and a check ride?

Mr Presta & I should hopefully be out there Friday by mid-morning.

By 'check ride' I assume you mean your waiver sign-off flight ? We can work on that with you, and both of us are CDs. I'll make a note to print off the necessary paperwork to bring with me.

Its actually better you dont come bro. I mean, we love ya' and gonna miss the crap out of you AGAIN!! But at least we wont have to listen to Duky cry about having to haul your stuff down for you................ for the next 3 weeks

Tam gave me another Hawk kit to bring down for Kenny Mac, and gear door hinges for the Hawk boyz just in case he cant make it.
I am having breakfast with Jimmy, John Orito, and Gordon Friday am .......Only Gordon and I were allowed to keep our genitals and continue down to the Willow.....The others will be promptly turning around and running back home to MAMA!!!!!
Gordon and I will be there Friday before noon.

It's Friday morning, and we have a very light drizzle of rain at the moment. Supposed to rain (maybe) this afternoon, then clear out. Saturday and Sunday should be nice.

Matt, there where quite a few guys out there.
I was only there myself for about 2 hours, and bailed
out before letting them know I did.

looks like alot of kero was being burned while I was there,
and they all where having a helluva time doing it

We were all wondering where you were Matt!!!!! Pretty much a great day, weather was very good, windy at times but mostly good. LOTS of flying. I got in ten flights-a record for one day for me. Had a great turnout-I didnt do a exact count but about 20 of us again. Billy did a great big job with the BBQ-lots of food. No crashes-Joey flew his AW panther-What a great flying aircraft-Raf showed up (bout time and sorely needed there Doc) and flew up a storm. Duck and McBride did the red smoke thing-It worked but GAWD what a mess. It will be skipped. Scott
