To your question here is the list of names of people I cannot sell to in East Texas and if you live in East Texas my home state I cannot sell to you ither it was given to me by Jeff at skymaster USA telling me I do not have the right to sell to you the customer if you came to me for your skymaster jet need's and that BVM has the exclusive right to sell to you Who in the hell has the right to make a choise for you the customer, you should have the right to chose the dealer you wont to buy from wheather it is BVM Skymaster USA/ RCI or Jet Aces 8 RC. This is my home state I live here and to have someone tell my I cannot sell to the people here in my state well that is not right.

Roger Spencer - Ft. Worth
Eric Hunter - Ft worth
A-1 Hobbies - Mesquite
Jose Rodreguez - Houston
Brian Gates - Arlington
Barry Raborn - Houston
Bob Price - Ceder Park
John Beran - Austin
Steven Elizey - Grand Prairie
Ray Blair - Rechmond
Jerry Kirwin - Richmond
Kirk Jensen - spring
Kevin Thoele - Spring
Bob Covish - Austin
Don Kockey - Montgomery
Ron Schwarzkopf - Ft. Worth
JT's Hobby- Arlington
John Hall - Irvine
Michael Stern - Dallas
Dawn Ellzey - Grand Prairie
Angel - Rosado - Ft Worth
Bob Beran - Austin
Jay Moorhaj - Pasadena
Phil Elting - Houston
Sean Rushing - Houston
Mike Boyce - Sugerland
RC hoby shop - Sugerland
Al Mason - Ft Worth
Kevin Elder - Houston

I am not here to offend any one on this list but you should have the right to choose who you wont to buy from to be told that I can only sell to west Texas how many jet guys are in west Texas give me a brake there is but only a hand full that might be into jets in West Texas. And to also tell me I can sell only to the Jet guys in Oklahoma and there are some but not many and the ones that are there are great people.
After spending 2 years building up a customer base all over the USA just to let BVM move in on it and get a exclusive to sell to my customer's that I have great respect for well it is just not right not right at all.

WOW! You just violated several confidentiality and privacy laws.

I am suprised that the moderator has not deleted the list of people that Jet Aces 8 RC posted on this thread! Frankly, if I was on this list, I would consider legal action against you!

That is my two cents. I am moving on............good luck Gil

One ex-Skymaster dealer previously complained about all of the shills on RCU ... seems that half of them were previously Skymaster rep's / dealers but that that was "OK" at the time somehow, and now suddenly it's not… ? I guess it all depends on whether the shills are on your side or not.
Gordon,

I was the one who made the "shill" comment, and I still stick by it, although the problem is not just with SM products.
FWIW, I believe that if you're posting on here with *any* commercial interests you should identify them.

In regards to some of the other "well, that's business" comments made in this thread, I do agree that this this is probably one of the best *BUSINESS* moves that SM / BVM could make and I don't fault anybody for that. The means in which it was handled, though, was pathetic at best.

Bob,

Honestly, Is there any GOOD way to end a two sided relationship, business or otherwise, when one side doesn't want to go? Some would vote for the "quick & clean" "hardhearted method" some would argue for a more "compassionate method". Isn't the net result the same? When times get tough in business, as they are now, decisions like this become more and more frequent. Doesn't make them any easier, but they still have to be made to insure the survival of your business.

Have no doubt, IMHO these decisions were made to insure the "survival" of two companies when there simply isn't enough business forecast to support them "and" a dealership network. Do you have any idea how many local "mom & pop hobby shops" Tower and Horizon have put out of business over the years. This is just the continuing evolution of the RC Jet market.

Leave it to the 2 post Troll from California to go straight to legal action.

If the whole deal is to drop ship directly from China why would Skymaster care who places the order for who.
Let BVM be a dealer under the same agreement as the other dealers and may the best man win.

Like many sales organizations,, flood the floor with reps and let the cream float to the top. Then fire the nonperformers

BVM is the most nastyeist person I ever met in the flying bussiness. He talked to me very nasty. I remember when I first started flying he told me that I couldnt even get a jet. The way he was talking to me and treating me broke my spirits in even flying at all. I didnt even want to fool around with any jets. I had alot of buddies that fly jets and all of them kept asking me why i havent baught a jet. I told them the way BMV treated me and so stayed on trying to find a jet and I called jet aces 8 rc and he name was Tony. Me and him talked and I had told him what happen and took place between me and BMV. Tony gave me alot of corage to buy a jet. He took hours and hours on the phone with me, explaing to me step by step about the skymaster 1/6 scale. He helped me really to get me f-16, step by step. He is the best dealer that skymaster had. So if BVM is taking over skymasters dealers sales I would not buy another skymaster jet. I wanted to buy the f-4 phanthom but when i found out what horriable news I called tony and asked about the f-4 pathom ready to buy it. If you all forgot about jet aces 8 rc then you can forget my bussinees. Because BVM treats people nasty and do people wrong. THank you tony for really taking time with me and my jet. I am gonna miss your skymaster support so, so loong skymaster![]

Guys,
Making nasty statements about BV or Skymaster is going to change anything.
Having friends of Jet Aces 8 or any other previous dealer come on to this forum or any other forum in the industry will not change the agreement with the two companies. Why these comments are allowed to be posted is beyond me. Its not going to change what has been put in motion. Are the consumers looking for a special product or making this a personal battle?
If you want a SM product you can simply purchase them from the two... it's a simple choice. Buy and fly... isn't that what this is all about? Fly your jets and have fun!

Absolutely true on all accounts. The deal is done (for better or worse) and nothing is going to change it. Even though I do feel somewhat slighted about it, I *sincerely* wish everybody success with it. Will it influence my personal purchasing habits? Yes, it probably will, but that's my decision to make as the "educated consumer". One thing for sure, I've learned (the hard way) that making a business of a hobby is a quick way to take the fun OUT of the hobby.[]

Sorry guys.. but this is business. Unless people had signed exclusivity contracts with Skymaster.. they're SOL. They have every right to make who they see fit their prime distributors.

It's not personal.. it's business, and BVM is going to sell a LOT more Skymaster airplanes because of his name recognition than other people. Just a fact.

One side note.. I've read people's experiences with BV and I can't help but wonder if the bad experiences haven't been somewhat self-inflicted. I've known Bob for many many years and always had nothing but great interaction with the guy, even when he knew I wasn't spending any money on his products at the time.

Scotty,

Of course, in this case the poster is just faking being terrible at spelling, grammar, common sense, etc. It's given away by how inconsistent the lapses are.
