Dave, the wing is more or less straight forward. So far I haven´t encountered any problems...but I´m moving forward rather slowly. All servos and rods as per Mr. Sterners drawings..
As regards the thread on rcmf I try to differentiate it a bit....but theres is no much difference, except I´m lying one month ahead on R/C Universe....
Pete

I Have been watching on RCMF also, but found this to be more up to date : - )
My own set of 1/5th plans arrived today, which are of a high standard I'd say.
Watching this thread with interest, to get some good building tips.
Great work Pete!
Jim.

Mike,
As Bob Hope would have said, Thanks for the Memories..... of what nice warm weather looks like as we have 16+ inches of snow on the round since wed.
I'm afarid that it will be at least 6+ weeks till we see temps in the 50's / 60's agian.
Thanks for the Vampire vids, I can appraciate the scale realisim comparisons.
Take care.
Kerry S.

A Red Vampire...
"By happy chance, just such a Vampire flew with the Royal Australian Air Force. This was a special scheme worn by Squadron Leader C.F. Favish's Vampire FB.31 of 25 Squadron in the late 1950s. "
Something like this... http://hsfeatures.com/features04/vampirefb31bg_1.htm ?
Can anyone tell me the dimensions of the largest plan sheet size, for the 1/5 and 1/4 scale plan please?

RE: Sterner - DH 100 VAMPIRE buildingThread
I´m slowly making progress on the left wing panel. I have glued the wing skin onto the ribs and spars on the top. In two steps... first the inside skin up to where you take the wing apart, and then the outer skin. Using white glue..except when starting, using cyano to secure the front edge of the skin to the leading edge spar.
Turned the wing upside down and glued all the spruce spars in place...using whatever was heavy to press the spars down into the notches...

Hi Astro,
I have previously sent you that requested inofrmation, did you receive it ? I have had some issues in the past week w/ my shop email resulting from the bad winter weather we have had.
If you did not, I will be happy to resend this evening.
