Yes theres the greedy buyers side of the story and the wonderful and kind unflawed sellers side of the story, Lets all stand up and give Miss Shirley a standing O for the kind and thoughtful person and wanting to stay out of jail so made things right, poor misunderstood, kind, dear, sweet, unspoiled kid just wanting to make a diffrence in this cold thoughtless world! Salue..............! and lets not forget jet RCers pure greed! But wait a min. isnt Shirley a jet gal? Oh crap now I am really confused! Anyone out there with a couch and ear? I really need to talk!

I live in MN, and have known ''Shirley'' for about six years. He appears to have a dual personality. Or maybe, he's just a very shrewd con man. He will go out of his way to give some people the shirt off his back and turn right around and screw over others at the first opportunity. This creates confusion, as some have nothing but good to say, and others despise him.
I agree with what ''Flame-out'' (whom I also know) says. Dave does seem to have a dual personality. He was always incredibly generous to me, re-building a wing for me at no charge and helping me out with some other things. He has taught classes on building to club members and just seemed like a great guy. But the facts are the facts and I don't dispute that he has failed to meet obligations to several people. It's very disappointing.

BTW, I personally find jokes about prison rape very offensive and making light of a serious issue. Just me.

Extremely happy the OP got his money back.

But one of the neatest guys I know in the jet world, Joe C, is still out his money. Not only that, when he posted in the Giant Scale Forum in re the rip-off, he was bashed by jerks who thought he was full of it.

The great guys in the Jet Forum won't let that happen.

All I know is I wouldn't want my name on this thread that shows up at the top of the list on the RCU homepage. Darn, that's gotta be embarassing, not that it shouldn't be! Oh yeah, I am from MN, but haven't heard of this guy. Happy you got your money back!
