i added one spring (like previous vampire) in the nose leg because the original spring is not strong and the leg
remains compressed changing AOA..

Hi there, i am Bruno from Belgium and i am building the Der jet Vampire for my friend Greg Voak.

Like you see in the pictures i have some help from Axel and his chikens case of not be to serious

Its nearly finisched and now i realy want to now if the vampire had a landing light and if so where it is.

I did not find very much info on that.

Bit quick on my Reply,is it under the port wing only or on both wings and have you maby a link where i can find some more pictures eventualy in the swingd out position.

last check before maiden flight...

i must to add 1,5mm playwood under main gear to eliminate risk of gear stay up and not release due zero gap
between wheels and internal gear vane..

Only comment, with your overflow position, with a gear up landing the nipple will be removed. I always mount mine so it is not the lowest item

today maiden flight of 2nd vampire...

total 4 flight without any problem...gear ok...landing perfect
80N turbine...

flight log fades 0005 / 0030 max each antenna...AR12000 RX + powerbox cockpit

good!!!

You have a point here but the overflow is flush with the fuselage and a litle out of the midle of the plane so it schold be ok

Thanks for the thumbs up for my work,i am not Flight factory just sombody who likes to build and specialy the mechanical and electircal part

Whe did a testrun on the turbine and everithing was ok so now i start on the wings.

It seems that i can not upload pictures at this moment so the wil be for next time

Looking good and whith the pointy nose it has room for the needed nosewheight,did the main gear door cilinders yesterday,thanks to Dave ho did the thinking i just have to do it :)
