Allen, the kits are coming in now. The ARF's are in China and should be about 3-4 months. I still have you on the list. Are you wanting the kit or the ARF?

Thanks,

I have mine!!! I Got mine from Chris when he first came on the scene with it, when he was working the kinks out. This is one awesome airplane he has tons of thought and time invested in it, and it is definitely worth the $$$ if you are a Hog fan.....I added a couple of pics. I will be using two Haoye 5 in. Fan units with Scorpion 4035-630kv motors and 2 100A Hobbywing speed controllers on 10S setup to each motor fan. Get on the list for this puppy it's nice.

JetFan, it looks looks good! When did you get yours. Does it have the correct % in the tail? You need this for it to fly. Is it the latest composite wing?

Sick, yours is coming. I have it now, just gettting the boxes together for shipping.

I had mine over 4 months now, just getting around to getting it together and getting all the components for it. Yes to your question about the tail wing mod.. Chris has been so kind in helping me with the building process, he told me 3/16 of a inch up on the rear of the tail wing, so we are looking good.

Hey Ty
I like this pic you sent me better. Gotta love the flaps. How is the build going?

Lowell
This is the second set of wings i pulled from the mold after our test flyer. They are lighter but not quite as light as the 1.2 pound wings that i have been making. Cant wait to test out the lighter setup. I have already done a stress test of my own with my knee and they are solid.

Ty will be saving some weight with the setup he is going with. Cant wait to see how these fans perform. Did Robert give you any data on what the fans were producing with the scorpions on 10s?

Here are some pics of the real deal at hills AFB in Salt Lake. I worked in Salt Lake City on a job for a month and found the time to visit this museum. If anyone is in the area i would recommend visiting the museum. They have a huge amount of aircraft on display. Sr 71, f16, f15, f18,B-52, to many to mention. The one that really caught my eye was the thunderchief. I didnt know this tank of an aircraft was that huge. I was recently visiting my wifes parents by Sacramento and was able to stop in at the museum up there and check out the A10 from outside of the fence. Unfortunately i did not have enough time to go in and check it out. Luckily they parked it by the fence to give me a taste of what i was missing. Oh well, there will always be a next time. My wife guaranteed a full day in the museum the next go around.

Sic, I believe this is the scheme you were shooting for. The one green is lighter. I like the lighter green better ,but what do i know, i am colored blind. I had to have someone assist me on painting the latest camo A10 because i could not tell the difference between the greens.

Yes Chris, that is the colour scheme I am going to try for.

I like the pics with random spare fuselages in the background. Looks like you've been busy!!

Hey Chris, Robert at EJF haven't given me the specs yet, I will find out...cutting back on the cell count should help out with the weight and flight performance....Cant wait bro!

RE: rcjetsdirect A10

Hey Sic
Those extra fuselodges are of my new lawn dart collection. One day i let some frustration out and slammed one nose first into the back door there, and it actually held up pretty good. All that trial and error stuff ya know.

Ty
Cant wait either. This will definately be a more cost effective approach for a twin set up.

Good info Ron. Tam is testing to find the best set up for us now. I really think he will come up with the best combo/weight/power.
We'll see...all a bit early still!
Thanks for the input.

RC Jets Direct

Lowel,
The TJ100 6s system is done testing and had log in many flights.
It put out 1.9kw at 88A. Even the 6s 3850mAh 30C will work on this set up.
The fan only weight 1.2 pound.
Hope this help,

Hey Sic
Here are a few pics with some pylons. I hadpulled these partsout ofthe molds today to see what they looked like on the plane. I figured after a month of sitting in the molds ,they would be fully cured. I have a few things i need to fix in the molds thats why i pushed them back. Hopefully i can start on this pretty quick so i can get them out to you. I was always wondering what was missing about the plane. The warthog is not a warthog without the stations. It definately brings it to life.
