RE: Anyone own a Warhead
I don't know about the 45 bucks for the servo saver parts but I'd like to put in a bid on the veggies in the picture............I got my WarHead back today, but got things to do right now. Update on the repairs that my RC guy did later. Runs like a champ

RE: Anyone own a Warhead
got this from hobby services, although i didnt really have any probs apart from me breaking a pull starter (my fault lol), i figured i'd ask them about the status of improvements to the truck.
We are sorry to hear of our problems with the Duratrax WarHead.
The manufacturer is aware of the problems with the vehicle is making
some changes in the near future.
I highly doubt that duratrax would come this close to making a great truck and say "f it lets forget it"
We all bought one didnt we? hehe
The issues with this truck are very small but the way people talk about it some people think its a 50$ radioshack crapmobile.

Just wanted to let you know Im busting my chops right now reading your article.
Who knows a good lawyer, so we can put a lawsuit against DT for mental strain deaggravation. I think I lost 10 years of my life putting up with a peace of #$#@. Just another blue light special(ops I meant Sears blue light special). I take that back. With at least Kmart or sears, we could take it back for a refund. LOL

RE: Anyone own a Warhead
Well, I see everyone is having fun with the Warhead. Mine is being replaced with a new one from Duratrax, as they said would be better than trying to fix the one I sent to them after only having it one day. That will be nice, as I can start the break in process again. I also see Tower Hobbies is listing some new parts coming out for the Warhead, looks mostly like bling, but who knows what will come later.

You guys think the big block just might be to much for the truck?

Defiently not. Ash had one installed in his before he gave up on it. He had the New Os Big Block and it was actually able to do wheelies.

You got that right brother Steel teeth is my first upgrade on that one after I shattered the spur 1 tank after I broke it in
And for a brother for the Savage x, Bill's got me thinkin' Hellfire with a collari .32 motor, Spacoli's got me thinkin' Revo 3.2 with a big block conversion kit (replacing 3.2 with collari .32), and Buffmeadows has me thinking Losi LST2 stock
Then there's the jato, ofna jammin... I'm going to have to hire my dog out for stud
What do you guys think?

RE: Anyone own a Warhead
anyone know why my reverse servo turned cherry red and obviously melted? i had switched the steering servo and took the stock one and used it for the tranny figured the extra strenth would help get it into gear i believe it did reverse worked good...
then i was testing my steering alignment and the tranny servo turned red and 2 holes melted in it from the inside out the battery never got hot and everything was hooked up correctly just the servo. any ideas?
also has any switched from the inner knuckle arm hole to the outer. i did and nothing binds or smacks into itself anymore because the tie-rods use to hit the lower shock mounts.
