yes all stock i,m getting new mt2 tomarrow or monday is breaking in the motor hard to do or straight forward fallow directions to breaking in onlt the t 15 tho, yeah cant wait iffy on the break in tho first time rc breakin ,used mt was already ready to go.but give it back to my step son who i baught it off of so he could bye parts for a ford tempo station wagon he,s only 16 car nut lol ,i seen it hurt him selling it so i figured what the hell christmas coming 250 bucks up what more would he want cant wait to rip and bash him and i two trucks better qaulity time having fun.

do you still have the stock tank with primer? This could be a reason why. Honestly it is best to prime the carb using the rotostart or pull start if you have that. Just cover the exhaust outlet with your finger and then pull/rotostart for a couple pulls/seconds and fuel will rush to the carb better than any primer could ever do.
Taking a break right now from breaking in my savage, first tank through so far and letting it cool for a bit. Can't wait for it to be done so I can drive Luckily rain has cleared up here for a couple days but supposed to start again saturday. Hopefully you will have good weather there so you can start yours up too.

http://www2.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin/WTI0001P?&I=LXJFE2 This is the tank I use, drops right in, just have to move the rear tank mount back, there are already holes in the chassis for this.
As far as break in, the alternative to following the manual is look on page 121. 46u posted a different way to break in the motor and I am somewhat following this method right now except for the first tank part. For that I am combining hpi's method of letting it idle and varying the throttle (while on a stand, tires off the ground) to keep clearing out the excess fuel. And in case you don't know (when reading 46u's post) to find bdc, rotate the flywheel until it is easy to turn. This is bdc, if it is hard to turn, you are either entering or leaving tdc.

Also, if you use this tank, you may want to add an extra o-ring under it on each screw where the screws go through to bring the height up a little so it doesn't rub the chassis. Although with the stock tank on mine, it also rubbed a little, but this tank seems to be a little deeper.

Grantothismo - can you post a pic without the Body. Just want to see how you routed the fuel line.

So choked been working on my new Mt2 SS kit and I go to mount the exhaust manifold and one of the screws that came with the kit has no head on it so darn close yet so darn far[>:] Anyone notice that when droping in the engine there is no mention as to the meshing of the gears?

Grantothismo
Do you mean the zip tye on the front bumper? They are there because the screws broke inside the bottom part so that was the only way I found to hold those two parts together, it’s a quick fix but its good enough for me.

friday13
I have long fuel line for went the truck flip over I have more time to get to the truck to put it back on its wheels, and like Grantothismo said it help keep a decent pressure in the system.
Oh. In that case I'll be putting longer fuel lines as well. Thx!

By the way, do both lines must be around the same length?

For the gear mesh I use a piece of letter paper put it between the cluch bell and spur gear push the motor against the spur making sure its at the right angle. After that remove motor screws one at the time to put a bit threadlock. I've been doing this for a long time now and never had a problem, still ruining original spur on both of my trucks.
