No but it comes in a can like a small paint can. I suggest you try Lowe’s, Wall mart or some place like that. You use it for making rubber handles like on pliers. You dip in and pull it out. Most be fairly thick. Sorry do not know what it is called. Never used any but have seen it somewhere in stores.

Not that I know of and if they did I bet they would be high. They make water resistant starting off around $70 each.

In my opinion you would be a whole lot better off buying a MT2SS kit. The chassis you are starting with if I am not mistake does not have the turn up in the front. Very important for off road. I am only guessing I would think you will spend about or all most as much as getting the kit and will not be as good as the kit when you get done. If you look 4 or so pages back you will see this has been all ready covered.

UR 100% right it doesnt have the knouch in the front but im not goin to use it off road im only goin to use it on the street (plus rember i have to 2 speed ) so thats imposable to take off road...................... my reson for doin this is so i can put a .21 engine in it................ and with the longer MT arms ill have more control im trying to make something to give the .21 jatos a run for there money

does anyone know of a way to retro-fit a big block in to the mt2? I have an mt2 roller as of now, I just need an engine and radio, and i'm set... but I have a 24.7 lying around and is there ANY way to make it fit, w/o buying the New Era Conversion?

thanks

Use a standard big block engine mount, and drill new holes in chassis?

true... well, it came with the aluminum engine mounts (stock or not, idk) but would I have to set it back any further because the driveshaft? I mean even puttin a trx 2.5 in it would be a hassle don't you think?

Like some one said you can drill holes in your chassis but one mistake and that will cost you about $40 for a chassis then the cost of the big block mounts an the proper flywheel.

46u, I'm going to pick your brain for a bit if you dont mind.

I had an RS4 Evo with a .18 OS CV-R in it with 19/23 cb and 41/37 spurs. Put that in the MT and the tires are way to big to turn over. Doesn't shift out of 1st and stops at about 1/2 the rpm range.

do you have a 2 speed in your truck? I've been crunching numbers all morning to figure out what I want to use. Stock MT gearing for the single speed is 4.33 (12t cb and 52t spur) so I really want 1st gear to be around 4.33 Here are some ratios I worked out. (sorry there are a lot)

I'm liking these first two options. 4.73 1st gear ratio would be CRAZY accel with the bigger motor yet be faster in second gear than a stock MT. The next ratio is awesome too, almost stock gearing for accel but 2nd is a lot smaller for a lot of top end.

gear ratio options with 11/14 clutch bell

spur (52/49)
1st gear – 4.73
2nd gear – 3.50

spur (47/43)
1st gear – 4.27
2nd gear – 3.07

spur (43/39)
1st gear – 3.91
2nd gear – 2.79

spur (41/37)
1st gear – 3.73
2nd gear – 2.64

gear ratio options with 12/15 clutch bell

spur (52/49)
1st gear – 4.33
2nd gear – 3.27

spur (47/43)
1st gear – 3.92
2nd gear – 2.87

spur (43/39)
1st gear – 3.58
2nd gear – 2.60

spur (41/37)
1st gear – 3.42
2nd gear – 2.47

gear ratio options with 13/16 clutch bell

spur (52/49)
1st gear – 4.00
2nd gear – 3.06

spur (47/43)
1st gear – 3.62
2nd gear – 2.69

spur (43/39)
1st gear – 3.31
2nd gear – 2.44

spur (41/37)
1st gear – 3.15
2nd gear – 2.31

Here is a video of my MT. It's the first truck. It is running the 19/23 pinions and 41/37 spurs from the onroad car. You can hear how much its struggling. It's running pretty rich too.

I've been debating that too. I'll be honest, I won't be able to stay away from offroad. I'll probably see how the 2speed holds up and if it doesn't deal with it then. Maybe try to use a savage 2 speed or design a slipper.

Sorry the only 2 speed I have is in my Savage and the only thing you can change is the CB or Spur which are single gear. Sorry when it comes to gearing I do it by trail and error. If I am not mistaken doesn’t the RS4 Evo have a different gearing in the differentials as well? Not sure if this well affect anything but thought I would mention it. Sorry I cannot help more but good work.

The MT and RS4 RTR 3 both use 13t input gears and a 38t ring gears which is a 2.92 ratio. The big difference is the Evo has a tire diameter of around 2.5" while the MT is around 5". Thats why the gear ratios are so different. They do have 2 speed clutch bells for 2 speeds that were made for the MT. This was the part number that came with the 2 speed kit.
