Do you have the RTR with the 52 tooth spur? If you were going with the CV-RX I would go up at least one maybe two teeth as it has MUCH more power then the T15.

If 13th came on it RTR and you are putting a CV-RX in it I would put a 14 or 15 on. I would all so run the RACE CB with the much better bearings then the RTR!

just adding my 2 cents, my savage 21 fully stock..soon to be not stock at all, can keep up on the track with any stock mt2..but straight the mt2 pulls away at about 50 feet..you also have to remember my stock savage21 weighs like a 100 lbs...lol..

I just bought a 13t and 14t cb and also a 47, 49 and 52t spur gears so I can run some other options. I'm thinking about running the 14t cb and the 47t spur. I have a .18 CV-R. I am running the 2 speed now and second gear is 16t cb and 49t spur and it will easily spin out shifting into second gear on pavement. 1st gear is 13t cb and 52t spur and I can't get traction period. Makes for driving on dirt tricky.

On my TZ right now I am running 16CB and 49 spur and in about 4 feet the tires are ballooned. I am thinking about going taller as I am tired of ripping the hex out of my wheels. Even rounds my alloy hex drive.

I have the ninja .21 in my mugen prospec, I put it in after I poped my v-spec, power is smoother, and has way more bottom/ mid than a v-spec. Holds tune way better. Imo best motor Ive ever had

Hi to all brothers who own a mt1/2... I know that the carb of the engine for the mt is rotary carb. Is it possible to put in a engine which is slide carb? Have anyone try it yet? Is there anyway to mod the throttle linkage to use the slide carb?

If you use the search on the forum you will bring up a ton of info about using a slide carb motor in the MT.
All you need is this.
http://www2.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin...?&I=LXCXF8&P=7
It converts your stock linkage over to a slide carb setup. It's what I use on my CV-R that has a slide carb.
Some people also like this Ofna version

Thanks bro. As i don't know what should i key in the "key" words to search for the information about it. There's sum of 300 over pages in mt2 topic...

No problem. Here is a tip. If you scroll all the way to the bottom of the page you are reading right now there is a search box and in it, it says (search this thread)
If you erase that and put in slide carb it will pull up all the posts that say slide carb in it. After you look at a few you will see lots of links to parts and how its done.
I'm not bashing, just giving you a tip. A lot of times its quicker to search and get the answer than wait for a response.

Ya i just saw it. I'm new in this forum... Thanks for the tip. Btw, what do you guys think of this engine? http://www.rbproducts.com/mainEn.php...t=01700-000720 It's 15 size turbo plug. How is it as compare to the 18ss engine? Will it be faster? More Hp and torque?

djheptic, this is what you need if you want to run a CV-RX rotary carb.
engine (comes with air cleaner) - http://www2.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin/wti0001p?&I=LXGGP7
exhaust gaskets - http://www2.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin/WTI0001P?&I=LXN376
manifold bolts - http://www2.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin...09&FVPROFIL=++
engine mount (you can use the cheap ones too) - http://www2.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin/WTI0001P?&I=LXCLR3
top engine mount bolts - http://www2.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin...43&FVPROFIL=++
bottom engine mount bolts - http://www2.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin...?&I=LXM833&P=M
flywheel - http://www2.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin...?&I=LXBTA6&P=7
flywheel collet - http://www2.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin/WTI0001P?&I=LXM719
clutch - http://www2.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin/WTI0001P?&I=LXLW03
pilot shaft - http://www2.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin/WTI0001P?&I=LXM720
clutch bell - http://www2.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin/WTI0001P?&I=LXLST6
Needle bearing - http://www2.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin/WTI0001P?&I=LXM766
Pilot shaft screw - http://www2.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin...17&FVPROFIL=++
You should have some of that. I don't think I missed anything. Each product in each link has a description. If you read those it will tell you what comes with the product. (this is important with the motor, it tells what all comes with it)
oh yeh and I can't promise the CV-RX drops right in. You might have to trim the upper deck because the pull start might rub. I don't have a pull start on my motor.
