It is strange how this day and age manufactures can stretch the truth so much like that and things like top speed. In the old days if you printed something on the box it better be true or they would be in trouble. Damn I am getting old!!!!!! [:@]

First if you run one make sure you run the Race CB!! I run the Race CB with my stock plastic. Second no I do no run one on my MT or my Savage, as I have no need to. Many have problems setting mesh particularly on a Savage and run them. On my Savage I am still running the same one after 6 gallons and on my MT I have only replaced it once other then changing gearing. To me it is just a waste of money. Rotating weight is a BIG horsepower eater.

Work and get it your self. I am sure they have some habits or toys them self. Tell them I am 52 and have around 19 or 20 RC cars and trucks. Better spending it on them then on drugs, alcohol or other vices.

I have the purple ones but a bolt busted off in the mount. I have to drill it out and retap the mount which I dont feel like doing right now.....
The only reason I didn't use more bolts was because I wanted to save some weight, the stock hpi mounts work great and only used two on the bottom of each one so I just shortened that design. I could have milled down the stock ones but I wasn't sure if they tapped the holes all the way through or not. They probably did but oh well. Mine will be polished and prettier anyhow
Here is a set of motor mounts I made for my RS4 Evo. These are offset about 1.5mm so that I could run the 22/23 cb and the 41/37 spur combo.

nickrummy why not make the motor mounts where the have more bolts where they go to the chassis like on HPI purple mounts. You could just take the mounts you have and mill them down some.
