is the firestorm better then the nitro sport or is the nitro sport better then the firestorm

My local hobby store carries Traxxas, so thats why I bought my nitro sport and I'm VERY happy with it. I'd say both cars are similar and I'd see what your hobby store carries, cuz nothing sucks more than breaking a $2 part and having to wait a week to get it in the mail...

Damn, that sucks. I got my revo close to being tuned. Had it pulling wheelies for a bit, but tune changed on me after it got warmer, trying to figure it out, these motors are alot different than traxxas.

hahahaha i bet.was the new tune more touchy and scattered or was it one that when it get's set right it stay's there?.....oh and the drive yoke was not that big of a loss....it ruined the rest of my day for running the vehicle but w/e things break...you can't help it and when something does i make sure it won't again.

Well factory settings are way off from where I'm at on tuning, but getting the high speed needle set properly requires the Low speed needle be pretty close, when you adjust one it really effects the other one. Plus I had to change to a different fuel. It doesn't like the traxxas fuel at all. I guess when your playing with an engine that makes so much power your level of error gets smaller, LoL. I'm gonna try again tomorrow as I think the neighbors were tired of hearing what sounded like a chainsaw running around the neighborhood. haha This thing is LOUD!!!!

RE: Official Traxxas Nitro Sport Thread!!
dude why do you keep on asking question's???????.the nitro sport is great so is the firestorm and the x-cell.they are all very similar to each other and the prices for each are only maybe 20-30$ different.JUST PICK ONE THAT YOU WANT!!!!!!!you will have fun with either one of them.
and to justspin:i bet that engine is very loud like you said and yes the more powerful it get's the less forgiving the engine will be.i hate trying to change my lsn so i do my best by not getting something that requires it unless i have too.

Figured out why I was having problems with my revo. Seems the motor has an air leak in the front bearing. Waiting on bearings for the motor now and hopefully will get them by this weekend. [:-]

My wheelie bar came today! I was installing it and then noticed my throttle servo was broken and held on by one screw!! Luckily I had a 2055 servo sitting around. Getting ready to check out the wheelie bar now.

RE: Official Traxxas Nitro Sport Thread!!
Geez... It's been raining all day and supposed to rain all weekend here!!! I got my cars all ready to run and now I can't. I'm kinda pissed, lol. I had my revo out for a bit yesterday and started tuning it... Damn thing needs a wheelie bar too! Flips over backwards if you take off too hard. Oh well guess I should have seen that coming. Just thought I'd vent a bit, have a great weekend everyone!
