Just another small update. Team Caglia has stepped up and made the arrangements to provide everyone with some great food friday evening at the field. After the huge success as far as the food was concerned from our good friend Jamie and his crew at the IMAC contest this weekend we are not only having them again in two weeks for lunches but they are catering friday as well.

We will have dinner at the field starting around 530 and it is FREE to all. We have had so many people promise to be here on friday we have set it up for 30. More is not an issue we just kind of need a head count as to who will be here for "help from the pros day"

I am seriously thinking this may turn into an event that will be here for many years to come. First of all I really want to thank the club for allowing this to take place and all the great sponsors. Our goal in the beginning was to bring some people into the event we all love and I am confident we have far exceeded those exspectations. A ton of guys from IMAC are coming with pattern planes as well.

I am completely blown away by the interest as well as support we have recieved and want to thank everyone of you for that. Pattern IS NOT DYING it just needed a jump start on the west coast. Of course there are a few out there that want to see us fail but I think those people will be nothing but a distant memory in the near future.

More later in the week. BTW this coming weekend is open to anyone that wants to come and practice with us. I know we will have several on wed. as well as fri. sat. and sun. Maybe we should call this the Bear Mountain Spring Nationals or something to that affect in the future.

Chip, the NorCal boyz will be arriving Friday late morning: Frank Capone, Jon Carter, Jon Bruml, Peter Vogel and myself.

Looking forward to it.

Dale, Looks like I will be able to make it too. I was reading the thread and my Bride looked over my shoulder and asked why we werent going. I told her I assumed it was too close to the wedding. Her reply was " Says who?" I'm stoked to be able to make it. Will have to miss the dinner on Fri.

Thanks Tony, I just couldn't see my plane on the second flight Sunday. Even my caller lost it a few times so I didn't want to take a chance. I need you to show me what wings level looks like, I think that is my biggest problem, and check my throws.

Chip, looks like I have a Pro lined up.....
