YES great Knife Edge shot . . the Beryll must be rock solid in KE ??
My last plane (Arresti III) was the best KE plane I have flow. Absolutely solid in KE with no mixes what so ever. Here is a vid a friend took (I like showing it off
).

how bout this for a knife edge. arch stafford at the sticks of a Black Magic VF3 with Dean funk (paint and graphics) and Mike Hester (designer) in front. I think it was the first or second flight that plane ever left the ground

nice pict,
the Beryll, use a really little mix of RUDDER -> ELEVATOR, only 5%,
To see more KE with a modify pattern plane F3A with those "old internal combustion engines", YS 160 DZ, you can watch it in this link:

Arch also did a knife edge loop with his right hand off the transmitter on that first flight. That was the cleanest plane I have ever built. So far that is, there's quite a few about to get airborne so we'll see!
Great video by the way. not pattern, but really good flying!

Thanks Joe, you know most schemes are a little of this plane and a little of another. I keep pictures of planes I like and when it comes to doing your own scheme it's easier to get an idea of what you want. The fuse on this plane was a copy of Don Sczcurs Brio. The wing design came from a foamie I built 2 years ago. The graphics are all from Dean Funk @

Nice pics Glen! Too bad you had to scale them down... I can tell the camera that took those was way too sophisticated for this site (note the jagged edges)... Thanks again for the engine... I should be back up and running in a few weeks thanks to that!
