Sealing hinge gaps

My Feedback: (8)
I'm with mtk. I wont be happy unless its rehinged. Currently I have no flightworthy planes and the season is approaching, so I sealed the gap with Ultracote. I got in this thread because I didn't know how well covering would work on robart hinges, but it seems to work just fine. I am just disappointed in myself for taking risks with this plane, resulting in non-precision assembly. I have yet to fly a precise, properly trimmed airplane.

It's not a question of flutter on a thoroughbred precision aerobatic model. Rather, a matter of model lock and grooving to a control setting. An .010'' gap is too much gap on this type of model. Pattern is not about banging sticks all over the TX.

Whatever that means........Our Pattern Forum is about helping competition minded individuals with specific issues to resolve. It is also the place where we discuss our rules, contests, and our new creations. Our goals are simple: make our thoroughbreds fly as well as possible.
This is NOT a sport flier, 3D, scale, racing, beginner or what have you, forum
