Default 2005 F3A World Championships

Since no one has started a thread yet about it, here's a start.

I'll be flying my new Impacts:

Composite-ARF Impacts (only mod was removable rudders and my color scheme)
Hacker C-50 14XL Competition 6.7:1
Hacker Master Acro-90 Competition
Thunder Power 5300's
APC-E 22x11
Tru-Turn 3.5" spinner with lightened back plate
Shulman Aviation 6V Regulator
Thunder Power 730 2-cell Rx pack
Kirbys Kustom Graphics
Futaba 9Z WC2
9151- Ailerons
9650- Elevators
9351- Rudder
149DP Rx (soon 148DP)
Dubro 2 1/4" light wheels, 1" foam tail wheel and accessories
Vel-tye hook and loop
J'TEC clamp locks
Hyde Mount
Central Hobbies (shirts)
Weight- 10 3/4-11lbs (no scale)

We leave here on Monday afternoon and arrive in Paris at 10:30am Tuesday. We're gonna play tourists for a few hours before heading down to Saint-Yan. If I had an internet connection (and time) while in France, I'd post some pics and stories/results...but I don't/won't. Maybe Team Finland will take up the slack again.

The official Worlds site:

Here is a link to the Brazilians daily reports from the Worlds:

That’s all I’ve got for now. See you in France…

Good luck Jason, but I think the Brazilian team will make the surprise. Fabio Trento is a Great Pilot.

Where are all the Team pics? Brazil, Canada, Finland.... Individual pics?... if I was home I could at least get 2 of the US Team memebers pics up... maybe Marcelo can post a pic of Chip for me. Sean is now flying a Genesis due to an unfortunate meeting with bad luck and Mother Earth.

I'm "borrowing" this pic from the Matt's site. And "borrowing" from Composite-ARF for Frazers.

Jason,
Seems kind of funny to me. I was just getting serious into pattern around the last Worlds and you decided to go from IC to electric. There were some in the US pattern community that were ready to hang you from the highest tree. Now an electric 2m ship is almost a must have at your caliber. Times are changing.

Good luck to you and the rest of Team USA.

Hello to everyone.
Here I'm attaching from Spain the pictures of the new Camodel biplane that Chip will fly in this WC, her name is Scandalous. It's installed with a Hacker+ThunderPower Batteries+Aaitronics. Tomorrow I'll be in St. Yan and I'll try to send you more news and pictures from there.

Eric,

Thanks for trying. Had another go but still having problems. Mostly I get a message saying 'Site Not Available'. Occasionally I can get through to the Home Page but neither the English Language option or French language option will download beyond that.

All my other regular sites are working normally. Have checked my Internet Connection Settings and Security Settings and all seems OK.

Remains a mystery.

Try the direct link rather than through the .com redirect.
