Hello,
I just came back from the long weekend at the 4th Cyprus F3A open so I intencialy delayed the shipment.
I did not want the box to sit in custom and wait for me. I hope to get it next week. Report will follow.

Papaone, Amram and guys,

The first kit arrived at 14:00 today!!!!!

It's a huge carton box 2,20mx80cmx60cm. It's like a refrigirator !!!!!!

I didn't see it so far since we have the NATS for Q500 and I'm ont hte event but my buddy went nuts when opened it!!!!
He called me on the cell and he was so happy and so amazed by the box dimensions as well the quality of the kit. He told me that it's like a diamond ...... can't wait to grab it in my arms.
The model it's glowing of beauty and work quality.

No more on this issue as I forced him to put it on a scale and weight it ..... The scale is not so accurate since he uses it to scale envelops and very small parcels.
Results :
Fuselage with undercowl 960grms
Wing approx 960 grms
Stabilators 240grm
Rudder 80 grms
Canopy approx to 200grms but the lexan needs to be cutted since it is as from the vacum.

The paint is excellent but there are some scrathes .........

The kit comes allong with carbon wheel pants even for the tail wheel.

More on this tommorow since I'm gonna have pictures to post them.

See ya !!!!

Ram,
The Little Win is called the TC and it is part of the GOLD kit only.
In few days you can come and see it at my house.

Amram,

the TC and the silver protective capote are part of the Gold kit that are missing from this box.

I am expecting two more Oxalys Gold Kit end of next week along with the missing TC and the protective cover.

cheers

Hello
To make it :
Use plywood 0.6 to 1 mm and balsa 5 mm on each side. Thickness is 10.6 to 11 mm.
Profile is done by sanding (1 mm = 0.039 inch).

Hello
See picture of CPLR with his plane in WC 2005. Look at the fuse, it's an Oxalys Evolution fuse.

Hello Onyx
Oxalys is a awesome plane. See link of building by Stuart Mellor.
http://www.users.waitrose.com/~aerob...s%20review.htm
To compare the differents wings, may be TMark would tell us the dimensions of his Oxalys Evolution's wing.

One difference that I know is that TS Comp is building the model EXACT scale, not like ZN with seperate wings.
The evo2 is differnet by the initially built by CPLR and has to do with the wing geometry as it stated by CLPR.

How to do you paln to setup them ?

More info are welcome ONYX140

Hello Onyx
Oxalys is a awesome plane. See link of building by Stuart Mellor
its a good artical by stuart and very useful, thankfully i dont have to keep looking at the artical when stuck because stuart is in the same club as me and often helps me when building models (personally i dont know anybody who builds as light as him) we also fly together at comps and hes a great help (thanks stuart) im also a little bias towards the model in that artical because i painted it, i also have his second model in my booth now being painted, the first model total paint weight came out at about 36grams i seam to remeber.
he has his set up with a os140rx and four blade prop and is getting very good performance out of it, id say as good as a 4stroke.

mine is set up with a dingo 160 with hatori 699 pipe (ive used the motor last season)
futaba 14mz
futaba servos on everything except elevator

i was hoping to test fly today but its raining here so its gonna have to be 2morow

my second one is painted and just needs radio gear and power.... as much as i like ys im starting to like electric too so i havent made my mind up weather to go dingo or electic yet, my mind may get made up at romilly in a few weeks

ill post some pics of my model later if it stops raining[]

regards
tom

Hello there,

No problem, I'll do it on friday night since I'm on a business trip. The bay is closed and need to be opened, it is shown at the pics I posted.

Thanks
