Hello, I bought this remote glow plug from Central Hobbies. There wasn't any instructions and I'm not sure how to assembly it.
Am I supposed to do some soldering to something because I can't attach my glow starter to anything. What am I missing so that I can make this thing work?

Looks to me like you'll have to solder some cable onto the black plug. The black shroud should screw off and expose the solder tabs. If you can't solder, find another club member that can. On the other end of the cable fit some banana plugs and plug direct into your power panel.
Cheers
Jason.

Yes, you need to alter your glow starter to connect the attachment shown in your photo. I cut my glow starter, soldered one end of a Dean's ultra connector, and then made two harnesses that I could connect one for regular glow head, and then other for the remote connector. Plus/minus does not matter. You just need current to flow.
Oh, on the remote connector that attaches to the glow stem make sure that your add some heat shrink between the wire and the remote connector. Otherwise it will soon break from vibration. I also like to replace the engine ground connector fork with a ring type connector. That ground connector is very soft and fragile.
I never had any use for the small aluminum sleeve that comes with the unit.
This is a good unit and will last hundreds of flights if you make the modifications. There is a Tetra glow plug connector that is much more durable, but I did not like using it because it is not easy to remove. This is the best remote glow system out there in my opinion.

I used the Tettra end for the glow plug then this for this unit from Hangar 9 for the other end.

You plug your glow driver onto one end then plug the other end into the jack on your plane when ready to start it.
