Since you had to do a redo, your are right to completely redo everything affected by the original redo.
Are you redoing redo's?
Redo until it is correct Robert. This ain't no bird for halfway measures.
We will stay here and cheer you on

It is education time again! Why the brass tube in the front under the stab and wire in the back? Is that an attempt to be able to change the incidence of the stab if it is needed? Or am I just short on coffee this morning?

Well sorta, I had a few places I would like to take it to this year. But they were not in my original timeline, added later. In reality there is no time clock on my builds, just the present.
Did someone say something about airspades?
Well yes I do have airspades!!
They will be non-functioning, a simple clip on for display.

Just got back from the store with more coffee - did not realize we were out until this morning.

OK, so let me reword the question. Why the difference between the forward stab brace (brass tube) and the rear stab brace (threaded rod)?

On mine, because that is the way of the full scale. On the full scale, I would assume the front is round tube because it needs the strength to support the stab and itself whereas the tail wires are self supported by each other in completing a circle around the tail.

At the onset of this build my first event was in June, I do believe I will make that one. But since the start I found a couple others I would like to have made, most notably one in May where Jacquie will be and I could get some photos. I may very well make that one as well, but only time will tell. As it stands right this minute I should be able to start the paint process by the end of next week. But as many here are aware I don't make timelines very well.

Well, as soon as the wife is ready, she will be taking me to the emergency room. I had the airframe mounted to the picnic table going to finish the run in. And when it started, well, lets just say "Luck was not on my side". See, I had not fastened the tail down and when it fired up I did something stupid! Stay tuned for more of the story.

And now for the rest of the story!
When the engine fired up, my first reaction (as usual) was to get behind it. As I cleared around the side of the fuse the tail started to lift, yes I forgot to secure the tail. I reached for anything to hold the tail down, in the moment all I could see was the plane doing a loop around the end of the picnic table and disintegrating. Well, just my luck my hand finds the aluminum that surrounds the cockpit and a sliding gripping motion does not go well with a sharp object. I lacerated all four fingers down to the bone. So! My ability may be limited just a bit but for a little while. Even though the hand may be limited I will give it until tomorrow and get back at it, slowly!

Tomorrow I will get the fuse back on thee table to finish the run-in. I will take a pic so you guys can see how it was mounted and then you will understand why I hand visions of it going around and over the end of the table.

Thank God,

Thought the prop took your fingers.
Praying no permanent nerve damage.
