White wolf you may already have the info but Forgebear or pugwash04 on the bay carry the tamtoy boxes
pugwash04 is good and i know he ships international if he hasnt got them ask and he will get you some

i also have his E-mail addy if you prefer outside the bay (do all my buying from him that way)

the hardest part is putting on the texture for casting

well its done the gear box and trans cover now looks like an early sherman lower hull now I have figured out a way to do the early suspesion and have it working Ihave made the front sprockets and the rear idlers and test fitted the sprockets on the new gear box and they line up exactly where I need them here are a couple of shots

Looks fantastic bubba those tamtoy boxes are pretty good by themselves but you have made them 10x better with the bearings
got those in my T34 and they sure are sweet boxes

How about a twin 40mm "Duster"... ???

(BTW, I really like your Sexton -I've always liked the 25 pounder myself. A fine old Gent named Angus McDonald, who used to be my one of my "neighbours" in this block, served in a Sexton with the Canadian Army during WWII. He said of the Sexton, "It wouldn't knock out a German Tank, but if we fired that gun of ours enough times, it would drive the crew crazy and they'd take their Tank and Bugger Off! " )

that looks really good bubbajoexx. Is that the finnished paint or just the preshading. i havent really tried much preshading on my models but I am going to start. Any pointers out there you guys?

use a good base colour close to the new finish you will find on a new tank the shade in some lighter colours close to the original base coulor as the flate surfaces fade faster than the edges then using a buff colur flaten out the suraces to blend in the fade adding in some sand and brown to simulat dirt biuld up

well my spare gear boxes came in today to mid 2 speed gear boxes Tamiya and 2 late modle metal gearboxes

now I can start using up the rest of mysherman parts
just have a few more parts to come in and I can complete some of the builds

that sexton is looking real sweet

have you had the tamtoys gearboxes going yet if so what are your thoughts on them

i found mine needed some subtle blueprinting to make them better (Quieter)
