Don't worry just yet. Time frame is still OK for a large package through the Christmas, mayhem. As there seems to be a commuincation problem with RCCommand don't worry too much about that either. You are not alone in this regard.
10 -14 days is pretty normal for mail of this size so that in itself should not upset you too much.. There are more places then just RCCommand to buy tanks though if the lack of communication is stressing you out.

Shipping from Texas to Louisiana should be fairly quick, even during the Holidays. Heck, I just received today some stuff I bought from Hong Kong a week ago. I read somewhere that RCComand is fairly active in another forum. Maybe you can ask the people who correspond daily with RCCommand to tell you what forum that is.

On the 12th Dec. HL told Bill they where on the boat. on the 15th. They told Bill Late December. You still seem to be in that window time frame wise. As of this time I have not heard from Bill yet and he told me as soon as he had them inhand they will be checked as he always does before shipping. I live in NJ. and have received orders from Bill on certain items in 2 (TWO) days time. When he has it it gets QC'd and sent. My guess is he just doesn't have them yet.
I am too guessing that the communication issues may be partly caused by the resolution of his EX partner. May be some legal mumbo jumbo going on there. All I know is it is being worked on. Hang in there. Check to see if some of the guys that have gotten theirs from Mato yet. How long did it take for them. 7 to14 buisness days is actually pretty normal for shipping anything unless you pay for next or second day delivery.
If you are just trying to bash Bill and RCCommand, give it a rest. The line in the sand has clearly been drawn and the story is getting pretty boring.

Panther G,
Business is still business. If you are selling stuff, you should be communicating to your customers inquiries. You just can't justify not anwsering emails or phone calls especially if your clients placed orders they are waiting for. That is just bad business practice regardless of the situation. I have no stake in this as I don't order anything from Bill, but I won't either after all the ppl that "cannot" reach him.

No luck with email or phone? Try the live chat on his website. I've "talked" to him a few times that way. I would say if you order something from him,(if your in the lower 48) and you dont get it in 5 or 6 days, its because it wasnt in stock when you ordered it. If he doesnt have it, he cant ship it out. I live in Missouri and it usually takes about 3 - 4 day from ordering to my front door. His business went from a two to a one man operation, maybe he is swamped and doesnt have time to reply to emails? I believe he has a full time job on top of RCCommand.

IMO I would think they would have let you know if they didnt have what you ordered in stock and gave you a time frame for restocking. That would be the way to give the best customer service.

Another Kill Bill thread,It's almost like people are buying from Bill so they can complain.Several months have passed since the beginning of Bill's problem's and he has managed to survive several one sided stories that in the end changed once the other side of the argument was posted. It is the season to be giving and not taking,so give the man a break. If you want to be sure of your order then buy from Mato-mart and when they make a mistake try getting them to warranty their product, minus shipping both ways ,which is their policy.Bill is working to recover from several difficult situations and if the order you placed is late it's not through neglect,my order took longer than normal from Bill but I did receive my parts.Yes I was a little stressed but after all it was just for me and not a gift needed for Christmas,or for a child who would be upset if the Tank was not under the tree.Enough said,I will still purchase from Bill,or Phil or Bob or Shelby before my money goes to the nameless internet power sellers. And all four of these guy's are not perfect, and neither is the products they sell, but they are tankers one and all and better for us one and all. Well like i said. there are people who like bill and those that dont'. I have seen this situation in the past. A group is siding with one vender over another and are finding anything and everything to ***** about. Including making false claims of orders that where said to be made on such and such date with no response or e-mail when in fact it was a bogus claim in the first place. I am not saying this is the case here nor can I prove it isn't but I have personally seen it. If you feel you have a legitimate claim contact Paypal or whoever you use to pay with and file a claim. I assure you if you placed an order with Bill it will either be shipped or your money will be refunded as this would be a federal case of mail fraud. AND I ALSO assure you Bill is aware of this.
There has been known problems with the RCC communications department. They are being addressed. If you are in doubt about ordering fro RCC then don't.
Bill has been doing this for many years. He wont miss losing a customer that looks for the slightest reason too complain.
I also assure you that if Bill gets sick and tired of all the crap he just may call it quits, and THAT WILL HURT THE HOBBY FOR ALL OF US.

You should not even be bringing up that type of allegation unless you know that is the case! The only one who can answer for RC Command is Bill. For what ever reason, HE CHOOSES NOT TO.
To Viper54 -
As far as the problems with RCC are only because of the Xmas rush - do a search and find numerous threads going back months.
To Everyone -
Didn't RCC previously do business under the name RC Scale Model (RCSM)? Go check the RC Group forums, and I think you see the issue has a bit of history. (please let me know if this is incorrect and I will delete this portion)
I know that ALL retailers have issues, but I don't recall multiple threads being started against any of them. This really does look like BYA all over again. It took me a YEAR to resolve my final order - and I was one of the lucky ones. There were those who stuck by BYA to the bitter end.
So what would be a reasonable amount of time to wait for RCC to get all this behind them, and return to regular operations? If they do, great! If not, just how long are you willing to wait to pull the plug?

The only thing that seems off is how come some people think that RCCommand is the only retailer that deserves a break when they don't ship out items for months, or when they refuse to answer inquiries about the status of orders, or when they they don't tell customers that their items have been backordered, and they may have to wait for a while.
Many e-tailers have been criticized for these things. BYA? Yup, contacting them about your order is impossible. And if they don't have what you ordered in stock (and you don't know since they don't update their stock status on their website), you have a loooooooooong wait ahead of you. Tankzone? Same thing. Unresponsive customer service. Raidentech, etc etc?
If you've personally seen it...does that mean you're the one whose done it?
I don't see how. Will Tamiya stop producing 1/16 tanks if Bill quits? No. Will Heng Long stop making tanks if Bill quits? No. Will Mato? Will Asiatam stop making aftermarket parts for our tanks? No. Will Etoarmour close shop if Bill takes his ball and go home? No. Will RCTankwars sudden stop selling RC tank stuff if RCCommand quits? Will Welshdragon? I could go on and on. So exactly how will it hurt this hobby?
Someone should update the stickied FAQ about which retailers people should go to. Raidentech has a big note about their customer service problem next to their name, I don't see why RCCommand shouldn't have one as well.

"The customer is always right". I never coined that phrase, but there is a reason for it's existance. If you think RCC is exempt from this rule, then I think you have lost your objectivity in this.
