Soccerlaw, check ebay, I got 4 mugen hubs with pins and nuts for $25 shipped. You may get em even cheaper if you're lucky.

Anybody use MTs on their truggies for bashing? Are they too big and will put too much strain on the engine? Just curious as somebody sent me the wrong tires and wants to offer them to me for a reduced price rather than having to return them.

Chedster,

Did you not like the extended hubs? You just got them, right? I remember when you said you won them on ebay and were really pumped.

Ya this is actually going to be my first summer actually racing. Mostly at the club level. I'm going to the lunsford gas blast next week and am excited for that. You moving to portland? I'll be in Corvallis but it would be fun to race with some fellow st-1s.

Well, right now im going to school in Eugene. But my parents live in portland and im moving back in with them for the summer. This will be my first time racing too. Wish I could start going to some races now. but im also on the baseball team, so that takes up most of my free time. Im looking to drop some cash into the st-1 this summer to get it race ready ( New engine, bump start, servos, Dx3, any anything else I think it needs) But I will for sure be around the portland and surrounding areas for the novice 1.8 truggy class, and i might be looking into the 1/10 nitrost class too. You know any good tracks around the portland area? I havent been to a track since I was 11.

Nice! just wondering why you mounted the exhaust pipe the way you did? Doesn't look like the gasket between the header and pipe is flush either. Should sit like this. When you put on the springs for the manifold you need to put them in the other hole, look at the way it sits on the truck then match the springs with the closet hole and they need to be about 1 cm apart each spring.

Well, think its all broke in. Starts almost first pull everytime, just gotta do some more tuning to get it right all the way. Also, this engine that came with the rtr seems to run cool, does that seem about right to you guys? I still need to lean it out a little, but it hovers right around 200 or so. Any input on that?

Just loosen the set screws in the middle. Look in the middle of the stock wheel hexes you will see it, just loosen it with a allen key and the pin should come out easily.

lol just wondering don't see any springs on the part of the exhaust between the pipe and manifold.
