I have a Hyper St RTR and as we all know the Mac Star is a dog so I have a Picco .28 on the way. I recieved a new Jammin JP3 pipe and put it on the Mac Star and it made little if any difference but the issue I am concerned  about is that the JP3 started melting the body . It appears that this pipe does not fit in the recess on the body like the stock pipe does. Has anybody had a issue like this and any ideas on what to do to keep the body from being destroyed . Thank you.

Arct1k,

We missed you this past weekend. We are racing again this weekend. FYI.. I sold my Hyper to Paul. But I will have another truggy that will be brushless.

does any1 know why just about every online site is out of stock for the hyper ST pro? have they stopped production to make way for a new model? i'll feel like a real azz if thats the case. i've been collecting parts for the hyper, but havent bought 1 yet. was waiting until later in the year. i'll much rather buy a brand new 1 than a second hand 1 from ebay or what not. guess we'll see what happens

Try SpecialRC on ebay.
He usually has 1 or 2 Hyper ST's kicking around.

He's good to deal with too.

im sick of trying to get my macstar tuned in so it will work
right so i went and bought a new os xz.28 truggy engine(only $288.00)for my new hyper st rtr. well when i put it in, will the macstar clutch system fit, (flywheel, bearings hardware, clutch shoes and clutch bell)? if not what do you recomend for it? i was told in another forum that the engine mount for the hyper st rtr will work, just wond

ering about the clutch. thanx, clay unruh

It will all fit in fine, but my recommendation would be to gear it up to a 16T CB as this engine is a torque monster. With a 14T CB, you will find the bottom end virtually uncontrollable.

I think that price is way high. Also postage would be way 2 high for overseas interests.

It sux our aussie prices are so dear on kits etc. Used gear just doesnt hold its value unless its top of line stuff. Hyper pro is more in the 2nd level stuff. USA prices for the pro are way cheaper. Hope you sell.

To- rcpowerhorse, sorry bout that...lol

Stussman- I know how you feel, I'm just about to get out of the hobby to get into gokarting and my mate and i have worked out that its cheaper to race gokarts (team enduro) than to race RC.
The cost of rc tyres alone makes it very cost prohibitive down here in Australia
