The H9 Corsair 60cc is now available in Australia in limited quantities. Three weeks ahead of schedule. Mine is ready to be collected. It's a pricey bird when you add retracts, engine and all the other stuff, but it's worth building it well so you have the best chance of keeping it in one piece. Sean

100 off is a good deal but it won't make or break this plane. There is still another 1200 at least to go for all the gear, probably more. This will be one of my more pricey models, but I got to see them in person at joe nall and They look nice. Now if I can just find a way o fit the fg84 in it I will be in heaven!! Lol.

For those of you that see the wrinkles and are concerned - don't be . With an iron they came out standard issue on a ARF plane that is compound curves everywhere. Here are some before and after
BEFORE AFTER BEFORE AFTER notice last pic - the rib spacing to appear more scale than what you would typically see on a model - nice touch H9

Still need to paint tips yellow and add sticker but a black prop really makes a difference . What do you think guys -
We have had 5 hour day with 2 people on it so far and made good progress - Thanks to Johhny5Mistro and Pablo12v for the lightning progress.
I have a muffler coming from bisson but they are saying 2-3 weeks
DOES ANYONE HAVE A EVO 80 MUFFLER that is NOT a WRAPAROUND STYLE? Im in a time crunch and dont want to chainsaw the chin of this plane-
Im trying to figure out if possibly a DLE 85 could be modified --does anyone know hole to hole demensiuon on dle 85 so I can see about modifying one?

Are you using the lighting kit that you can order with this plane or another? Also are you using the 8711 everywhere or? Thanks for the great pics. Im picking mine up today.

and now for the magic.........
socalbudman - I opted to not used 8711 after it got hot trying to operate the flaps- this is what made us change to 2 servos instead of 1 -PAY SPACIAL ATTENTION WHEN GLUING FLAP HINGES TO ENSURE PROPER ALIGNMENT WHEN DONE- overall you will find that the flap mechanism is neat looking and clean installation but its design has alot of friction for 1 and you will find it very hard to get the geometery perfect with one servo. that is what we found anyway ...after a few hours trying to go with one servo we cut a 3/16 A/P plate to accommodate 2 servos and this should work much better and way easier to adjust flaps and keep in sync at all points of travel . but we all have our own ways to do things in modeling - thats one of the cool things is all planes are really unique and there many "right ways" to do it -MODELING
Servos 8411's on tail
spectrum A6030s everywhere else
Robart/H9 E-retracts main n tail

Lights we are using will be eflite as listed in instruction manual - they are correct in color etc, and on the list is a light controller as well.

went to 2 servos - we could not make stock setup work to our standards - so we went for 2 servos instead

Some details on the tail #0 x 3/16 screws back here (smaller then #2x3/16 used elsewhere on plane
The pictures don't do it justice - it looks way better in person ... back to rivets....

For anyone thinking adding rivets is hard and time consuming , I must say practice for fun on a few smal models and it is really pretty quick and easy. All these rivets were applied today.
All the tail area rivets took about 2 hours and the cowl took about three hours but i was not nonstop work as I was showing off my new plane to my friends/customers at "work" .
I am all for rivets on models as you can see - i even do my aerobatic models too -It really makes them stick out at the field anyway
