No I have not received the model yet, I live in Gibraltar and we do not have any model shop here all has to be bought abroad, we pay a lot for the shipping, the good thing is we VAT free.

Finally I glued a instrument panel and made some progress with my semi scale cockpit. Now Iīm going to make some details.

Iīve done the cockpit equipment on the side boards, now it is ready to paint. Now Iīm going to make a gunsight and voltage regulator.

AeroGasRC, In reference to the covering brand on the Seagull Spitfire; Sig states on their website that the Seagull Spitfire in covered with Ultra Coat. Have you tried to match your plane with Ultra coat OD ? Hope this helps

Bought the same last year, and built it right from the box exept for the linkage and hinges on the flaps The original retract gave up after 8 flights, so I have to replace them.

Here is something like a voltage regulator.
TA152 whatīs your flight weight? A read some threads, that the C.G. on this Spitfire is big problem, because the fuel tank is far from C.G. Did you have any problem with it?

200g of lead and the weight is about 7700 gram. Looking for 100 degrees retract, but its not easy to find.

Thatīs good weight for 2030 mm warbird. I hope will have almost same.

Finally received the oleo legs and cut off the fire wall. Now I see the engine in the cowl. I have to say that cowl is perfect, isnīt it?

What prop is she going to be swinging?
She is looking good.

Fire wall is glassed. For better strength is glassed outside and also inside.

That's a great idea, it's good for all the fuel and at the same time gives it more strength.

Original fire wall looks so weak and it wasn īt big problem to cut it and make shorter.

Thinking about new wing covering. When I was taking the stick labels down I found out, the grey colour isnīt paint but film. I took the grey film down and saw many small holes in the green covering under the grey one. I have a solid silver film, maybe this way would be better than to repair the original covering.

The task of the last days is finally done. I made some first spinners for 1/5 Spitfire now Iīm able to cut them for 2 or 3 blades prop during few minutes.
