Well I just pulled everything down again after reshimming pinions front and rear.  rear gears looks okay maybe starting to chip teeth but front missing two teeth........!!!! may be from over shimming.     Well I moved the diff with the ring gear back and forth and it has play in the case so I will be shimming that for the side to side movement and takeing some shimms out of the pinion.  I will post a vid on this and see what you think.

Maybe u guys could check into the gears on the pro hurricane or monsoon, the rears are tough in them. I bashed the crap out of the hurricane xtr and the rear went after 1 and a half gallons of fuel, the front one was still going strong. They sport the .28 engine and i believe they are steel. not sure if they will fit haven't had the earthquake rears apart yet. Or maybe the whole diff with a little cut or chop. just a thought!
