Jeff, Jeff, Jeff, you know me well enough to know it's got to have a nice shiny paint job. The only issue with Titanium is that it has to be 6-4 alloy in order to bend well. Problem is that particular grade is a bit springy. A couple short pro links for my ailerons would help and if I can get enough weight out of the nose then I can go to a .058 CF rudder pushrod. I figure for gold class I need 6 minutes of fuel. I can't imagine going through 16 oz in that short of time. Either way it's on hold for the next week. We are moving into a new condo starting tomorrow.

Took my KI out with a new YS115 WS yesterday. I ran a half a tank of 30% on ground then took it up for the maiden on my new JR - XG14 DMSS Tx. All went well. I kept it very rich, and it was still fast. Last year in Sac in April, I raced it with a 110. This 115 will be much better for this plane.
BJ mine too is 8+ lbs, cause it is glassed and painted. But it is clean and smooth.
Looking forwrd to some good racing with all these fast planes.
I am predicting a lot of breaking out and a lot of 2nd and 3rd place finishers to get bumped to 1st.

Did some more prop testing on the little DZ-70 engine. You can run 50% in the engine. Testing the APC 11x14 Prop it would turn 10,200-10,300 on 30% and spin that prop at 11,100 on 50%.
With a little work on the prop I will get it to 11,500-12,000 that I need. The plane is slower than I expected but with a little work I should be able to get done to 8 sec laps.
