I managed to fix the aileron using some more tabs. I will use the tape as suggested only to fill the gap between the aileron and wing.

If you go on the OS website there is a PDF document of the engine. It shows an exploded view of each engine type and the crank on each one is the same apart from a tiny connector for the pull start...

Haulin, did you get all those shims in the ST-R kit?

Is it possible for the pinion to rub on the diff casing if it is shimmed too much or should the gearing prevent it from doing so?

I just put the small shims back into the diff and it is virtually locked. I am going to have to take some out to loosen it up a bit. If the gasket was a bit thicker then that would have done the job...

I don't race at the moment.

Apparently a roto start plate can be fitted to the back of the Axial, which is handy as I have the kit. I am not sure about the Picco...

Thanks for that. It came off pretty easy that way.

It was the flywheel that was too far forward. I had a spare brass collet that was a tiny bit smaller and allowed the flywheel to sit further...

Has anyone managed to get their stock flywheel off? My Hellfire came with the flywheel too far forward on the shaft and because of this the clutch bell sits too far forward. I get really poor gear...
