The military uses the rail mounting system, usually referred to as "hardpoints" or "racks".... Thing is though, they add considerable drag, extra unecessary weight, and generally don't look good...

As far as who to trust (Not me! I'm not on the list! Phew! :D ) - use RCU as just one of many sources of information. You can also get a good idea on most things...

Shopvac. Suck up as much dust as possible (from the inside too! ), then slightly damp paper towel everywhere thats going to get covered to get the little bit that's left. Cover as usual. :)

As far as engine out, I'm going to try to keep that to a minimum. I do plan to use enough to keep it flying on one, but don't necessarily need climb power - just enough...
