RE: Rock Racer

I just didn't understand the logic behind a comparison of this to a Wheely King.

Your post kind of made it sound like Mike wasted his time building this one 'cause he could have just used a...

RE: Rock Racer

About as fast? Guess it depends on your definition of "about".

A stock WK radars at 15mph...and it won't be as fast or as drivable on the rocks as that rock racer.

New Crawler mag on the way.

I've been wanting to do this for a while now and recently put things into motion to make it happen.

RE: Eflite Quality? or just a fluke?

I've straightened warped main gears for the CP by heating them.

Makes sense when you consider that these are injection molded parts that are allowed to finish cooling after being ejected from...

RE: Blade 400 - Tips, tricks, and mods

After flying my B400 today I found a weak link.

I've never crashed my B400, never struck the ground with it, etc...and I have over 20 flights on it.

Today I was doing some hard 180 stuff,...

RE: Famous Wife Quotes and Comments

When I was considering getting into 3D helis my wife told me "You can fly it, you can fly anything."

I have 3 helis, a paraplane and over 50 planes. That doesn't count the ones I've gotten rid...

RE: Things you say after crashing

One of the locals crashed his gasser.

He said "I lost the ailerons" prior to crashing.

I wasn't there, but if I had been I'd have told him "I see them. They're laying there with the rest of...

RE: Blade 400 - Tips, tricks, and mods

Been flying the Blade 400 a good bit over the past few days.

Installing the canopy is just as bothersome as the other E-flite helis, the CX and CP series.

A trick I used on CX and CP was to...

RE: Engine mounting question--help!

I got 1/4 x 4in bolts from Lowe's.

I used 3/4in hardwood for spacers. These are 1 5/8in long.

RE: Axial RTR pics/info

27T won't have the torque of a 55.

It'll be faster and use more current to get through the same courses.

RE: FRL45 Gas engine Whats the verdict?

I ordered one of these as well. Smelled of gas when it arrived so I know it had been ran at the factory.

Everything on mine seemed good to go. It even showed up with a machined delrin carb...
