RE: Joining two pin flag failsafe switches?

It is all worked as planned now :D A bit of a think today as I was chatting it through with a buddy of mine and it dawned on me that I may have connected the red/black wires inconstantly! I did this...

I've come up with another 50cc install config and I wanted to run it by the "experts" first

I have a general dislike for mechanical switches on my rx, especially two of them on the side of a...

A123 switches?

Decided to use A123 cells for my next 50cc model but I am still searching for a suitable switch. So many good failsafe switches have built in regs which obviously are not needed for the A123 packs. I...

RE: Something different for 50cc?

Now that's getting there. Very much like the CH Vision 3D and different to the Yak's and Extra's out there. Things I don't like is the lack of pipe tunnel and dual servos on the ailerons, seems...

RE: Something different for 50cc?

Thanks for the suggestion but I just don't do bipe's. Might change my mind later but for now I haven't really enjoyed one so I might have to wait for someone else to get one of these :D

RE: Something different for 50cc?

Yep we can get the WH gear in the UK. I have been looking at the Sukhoi for a while but from people who have flown both they have recommended the GlobalRC one in preference.

Not a lot of love...

RE: Something different for 50cc?

Interesting you should mention the EF Cap, known about that for a while but was a big secret here in the UK. Also we were meant to be getting an Edge prototype here before xmas but that all went out...

RE: Something different for 50cc?

Not a big bipe fan due to the hassle putting them together at the field [&o]

Sukhoi is on my list if I can find one that I like but I am a big fan also :D

RE: Something different for 50cc?

That is a very good question actually and I need to explain a bit more. I don't really get on with the Compy 2x2 in comparison with the Yak, I much prefer to fly the Yak so the Compy sits at home. So...

Something different for 50cc?

Looking for something a little different for my next 50cc model. I already have a EF Yak 88" and a Compy 2x2 so I don't want another Yak or Extra but this seems to be most of the choice currently....

RE: Chip Hyde's Vision 3D

I know this is an old model and thread but I am thinking about one of these as I can't find much else out on the market that replaces this design. In the UK ProBuild have kept this model going with...

RE: Home for a YS140

That Rock n Roll looks like a nice model, shame about the rubbish name :D The Ultra RC stuff seems to be very light airframes so should go well with the 140, in fact they said they tested it with the...

RE: Home for a YS140

Hi Barry,

Thanks for the suggestions there.

Don't really like the H9 Funtana's, have a 40S and it's not nice to fly. The 90 is similar.

Cap, not bad, have to look into that one some...

RE: Home for a YS140

Not sure how well a YS140 will pull a plane that size around? I had looked at both this and the Ultra Kat but thought the 140 would be ok in them but a 160 would be great. Looking for a model that...

I already have an Extreme Flight Yak54 74" on...
