Engine Torque with Contra drive

It seems to be generally assumed that the Contra drive will eliminate engine torque effects on a model. In arguing the point with a twin engine enthusiast I'm afraid I lost.

One has 20 magnets on the inside cercumference of the bell an the other has 28. As long as the motor delivers it doesn't make much difference although I suppose the 28 pole motor might deliver power...

Thanks Joe. Sounds like that motor can easily handle big momentary overloads, so I will go ahead and experiment with more prop -if the snow ever melts.

I believe most transmitteres have an internal voltage regulator which will accomodate up to 15v. I ran a 3s lipo pack in my 9C for years with no problems. Be sure an balance the pack occasionally.

from the 8U to the 10C is not enough of a hjump to make it worth the trouble. Now if you are willing to take on the programming headaches, the 12FG would be the way to go.
