Helion Animus shuts off at half throttle

Hello everybody, Its been a while.....
Anyway, Ive got a Animus 18SC that is shutting off about half throttle and the light on the esc starts blinking.
Ive tried binding a few times but its doing...

New Batteries for old Cliff Climber ??

I pulled the old duratrax cliff climber off the shelf for my grandson to run and both NiMh batteries are dead.
id like to get li-po to replace them but not sure what to get,
would need to get low...

Does it have a 7.2 battery pack ? Ni-Mh or Ni-Cd ?
Theres several inexpensive chargers out there that will charge the Nickel base batteries or even an old...

Nitro in general has lost out since brushless n lipo came in.

For a 16th scale its a little bigger than most so it kinda helps its handling some.
The 550 motor on it gives it plenty...

But anywhere like offroad, yard or whatever will most likely get small gravel and other debris into the gears...

Could be a warped wheel, mite hold the car in one hand or put it on a stand, then give it a little throttle.
check to see if any wheel has runout .
Also could be a tire was not seated in the wheel...
