Starter box

What is a very good starter box that is cheap? Lots of people recommend the Ofna chrome top which is $69 at tower ($98 with battery and charger) but I don't want to spend that much.

Is the Kanai 3 better than the x1cr? Any big differences?
Is titanium better than aluminum for racing?
I know that titanium is stronger than aluminum but it is heavier.
