just have a look at this site http://hpiracing.com/index2.htm. these cars are very fast i was racing my friend with an os 18 and i have a te 15 and kept up with him no problem. They handle very good...

To me it looks like it got really hot inside your motour because you can tell by what colour the metal is.

Here a a few pics of my suspension. They are on a bit of an angle not much and the car handles fine. My car is a nitro rs4 3 evo with a .15 not 18ss.

if you buy a smartech car you can replace it with hpi parts my buddy has one and the body are a little lame buy hpi bodies fit so i would buy a smartech car and replace it with hpi parts.
