I agree, it seems to me the piston cracked when the back plate was removed and fell in side the crank case and damaged everthing. thats the bad thing about those motors if your not familiar with...

Yes, O.S. 18TZ has big block power 2.1hp, awsome motor.

P.S. I have a brand new set of spur gears (t44,t43) & aluminum clutch set for TNX $19.00 shipped for all.

Forgot to mention, it took three generation for hpi to get the Savage almost right. Nothing wrong with the truck just pros & cons.

Revo 3.3, easy to work on, handles excellent anywhere (track or bash) parts found everywhere, very light weight and can install any motor (bigblock or small block). Also sits lower and takes turns...
