i would keep the two speed whether it be for the revo or the tmaxx. however i doubt u would be disappointed if u removed the reverse. i was gonna do it on my maxx but i'm just to lazy:eek:

the only thing i'm worried about, and that i need to be clarified on is if the servos that come with the MX-3S, and the spektrum dsm system will fit the servo horn that comes stock on the jato.
