I think you would be very happy with either car. I have the standard MBX with loads of upgrades. Past the level of the Prospec. Racers edge shock towers, Kfactory everything...their carbon...

Leave about 1/4 of a inch of space from the oil to the top of your shock body. Make sure there is no air under the shock piston. Move it up and down several times..... Watch for...

Dirt Nap (awesome..)

That sounds like my track. I run 45 weight oil in the front and 35 in the back in my Mugen Pro. There are lots of other settings though. Sway bars..diff settings.......
