RE: Gear down for Terra Crusher

Installing TNX diff will require boring a bigger hole on your tranny's final output shaft because TNX drive cup's pin is bigger. You need to tear apart your tranny and remove the shaft to make the...

RE: Gear down for Terra Crusher

^^^^^That is right. It is already geared low. What you need is a more powerful engine like the OS 18TZ tx or OS 18 cvrx. 16/44T will just do fine.

RE: 20 monsters and 4 truggys later

For a year and nothing on aftermarket parts? You are so disciplined and conservative in your hobby.

RE: What is everyone's position on the new Savage X??

This is marketing ploy. No company will give you their "ultimate" product. Savage X is 5mm lower. After 1 year Savage X1 is 10 mm lower and then after a year Savage XXX is 15 mm lower "for greater...

RE: 20 monsters and 4 truggys later

RE: What is everyone's position on the new Savage X??

It does looked great! It looks solid in stock form. Again, HPI only lowers the engine by 5mm??? I know somebody who's savage was lowered as low as 12 or 15 mm. (aftermarket parts). Why can't they do...

RE: Revo or tnx

Thermal, your TNX pro is still fairly new, instead of letting it sit and collect dust, why don't you sell it to hybrid?

RE: Revo or tnx

I believe you, I saw an LST2 in our LHS carry it like a baby, checked everything and it seems to me it's really a solid truck in stock form. Yes, with it's shiny orange flaming .28 engine it can be...

RE: Revo or tnx

Yeah, ThermalRD is right. TNX pro is discontinued. I don't think you can still get it anywhere. The powerstrokes that goes with it is also discontinued I believe. I think you missed a great race...

RE: Revo or tnx

TNX Pro all the way! Just remember to buy some "extra parts" from Towerhobbies JUST IN CASE. You need to stock up spur gears, arms, axels. The truck doesn't break easily and you don't need any hop up...

Toki engines are the LOWEST form of R/C engine made for this hobby. They are made in Japan tho. Anybody here can attest to the crappy stock terra crusher engine. It is the same engine. All engines...

You forgot that LST is also one heavy truck. It weights around 15-17 lbs. with full tank of nitro, battery packs, roll cage and some hop ups parts.

RE: TNX Engine help

OS.18TZ tx is a very good motor for TNX. Too much power that is. The rotary carb that goes with it is a bit pain to tune. You can use the stock or cvrx slide carb, but you need this:...
