sensored will give you the smoothest low speeds. just grab a sensored motor with a lower KV and youll have all the low speed power you could need

Turns and kv are not constant. One motor may have 13 turns, one motor may have 2, and they will both have the same KV.

the number refers to the amout of turns, the letter refers to the termination, delta or wye. so the "1Y" has one turn, terminated wye.
