well they are a little large, but hey I don't race...maximizer truggy beadlocks with dirtbonz tires. They have a wider offset than stock and the tires are almost the same width as the rtr tires....

Btw those measurements on the HF SS are for the rear shocks, they have a longer shock shaft than the fronts.
Okay that was stupid they are the same length.

hf ss shock on truck are about 143mm long---savage (stock) installed are @ 153mm, the 10mm difference raises some eyebrows but what is the difference between the lst shocks and other "upgrade shocks"...

My HF SS shockspacers are pretty big...stock savage spacers are 10mm...HF SS are biggest--10mm, 5mm, and then 2.5mm (smallest ones are a gues since I can't find where I missedplaced my parts tree).

I have the hellfire ss kit and love bashing it. I dont race at all, but I upgraded the ft and r diff to the hot bodies lsp pro diff--(spiral cut hd ring and pinion) and used the savage x ss alum....

@ $169.00 for the kit. (that is what he quoted me for my axial28 in a e-mail...only way to get priceing) The kit is just a new head for your motor and then the fuel is still @ $30.00 a gallon.

Thanks for the input guys! I think after reading your comments, I will take head and strike down that idea and stick with nitro...sometimes it sounds too good to be true.

I still have a redcat volcano 1/10 truck under my work bench in pieces and a drawer full of spare parts in sealed bags, it got me into the hobby---but I decided to step up to better quality trucks...

Get a can of WD40 and spray a base of carb and back plate carb needles. If engine rev's higher than that would mean that there is an engine leak... Test each place seperately.( Motor must be running...
