I have been running the Turnigy 9150 (same as the Power HD 9150) for rudder on a 50cc Yak, 1/3 scale Laser 200 on all control surfaces except the rudder, Hanger 9 85cc Sukhoi on all control surfaces...

RE: 50cc Reactor

I recently bought a 50cc Reactor from a buddy of mine (just the airframe). He dumped the plane once when his engine died in a hover. Needless to say the metal landing gear got sprung. Now the...

RE: Best battery pack for 40 size profiles???

Actually, I used a brand new A123 battery, 2300 mA pack. I was afraid of the situation that you described, so I installed the A123 battery pack in the aircraft. I originally installed a NiMH 2500...

RE: Best battery pack for 40 size profiles???

RE: Best battery pack for 40 size profiles???

I recently got back into the hobby after being out for about 8 yrs. I've had / have all kinds of issues with my 2.4 GHz systems. I bought a HiTec Auroa 9. I'm running the Optima 6 and Optima 7...

RE: Motor size

Couple of other ideas that I've used for years.
1. Run an extra long Mac Header and Long Tuned pipe. I tune the header long to put a little extra back pressure on the head. this pushes the torque...

RE: Status Update.

I think that I have a few PBXLs in a closet. If you want me to look, I'll check and let you know. I'm sure that we can work something out.

RE: Status Update.

Really have no interest nor the time to go back into the kitting business. Besides, there is so very few people that actually build these days that I don't think that it is worth going back into the...

RE: Starting a ZDZ Super 80

You should not have any problem with a twin. I thought that the ZDZ twins all have reed valves, not the rotary valves. I believe that the boxer and inline twins (plus) all have reed valves.

RE: Removing ZDZ 60 prop hub

I bought a gear puller from Sears. The fingers were small enough to get in behind the hub. I installed a socket head cap screw in the center, so I was pushing off of the SHCS and not the end of the...

RE: Starting a ZDZ Super 80

That's all this engine needs - ether! NOT! Its backfiring into the fuselage as it is. Let's add something that is even more flamable to ensure the aircraft starts on fire! <LOL>
As also stated,...
