Vincent, I just mounted it to a 1/8 ply piece that I cut to fit in the cowl. The ply also acts as a baffle, making all incoming air go to the heads.

BME 110 extreme. Fit great with the plugs angled towards the rear. About 1/8" clearance from the plug cap to the cowl flap on each side. And thats with the cowl flaps fully closed.
