Bud nosen trainer 100"

First tach numbers are 6600 with a Bambula 18x8. Got some old gas that has evaporated quite a bit so the mix is way too oily...got some fresh gas today and we'll see how it does. Weight right now...

Well, i have finally gotten around to getting some work done on this and have fired up the engine and it runs great! With a 16-6 getting between 9.5-11 lbs of thrust depending on the prop...

Hello everyone...have picked up a Sachs 5.8 (95cc) for a Corsair build. I've heard a lot of bad things about vibration with this engine...It does appear to vibrate a pretty good amount in mid range....

I like the break down system you have for this...it's very common sense....finishing mine up for the spring. Kit built...removable tail w/ wing struts, re-inforced fuse and a converted 25cc gasser...

Well, an update...I emailed Great Planes Tech. Ass. Dept...inquiring about different prop size/pitches....and I was told that they did NOT test this plane with anything other than included 12x10...

Well, I won't have to worry about the lipo factor as I'm running with NIMH packs....did anyone experiment with diff props on stock config?? Or did everyone just jump right to brushless and lipos?
